Looking for a Knight Kneeling on Line, I found this guy as my initial design I liked. He was closest to what I had sketched up before looking.
He's holding a flower. Actually three flowers.
Yeah, a hard part was putting eyes and a nose in that small helmet slot. But I was happy with it.
Color I used for the blade was called oily steel.
His wrinkled cape turned out great.
Wasn't the happiest with how the rust turned out but how do you do rust anyway?
Had thoughts about putting small indents in the grey areas to show chainmail. Decided it would be too hard. And too small to show properly.
Believe it or not, it was hard to cut between his legs there. Any gaps you have to do are tuff.
Again getting down in there to cut between each leg very tuff.
Had more colors in his plumage but stood out too much and repainted.
Connie Salenbien helped me with the flowers. I wasn't sure how to connect the three of them. She showed me how. Thanks Connie!
This was also close to my original idea. Used some of him for armor.
